Our club is researching both munitions and other war related factory production during the period 1914 to 1918 and we invite you to join our discussion board. The discussion board we hope will be used to research production of war related materials during this period. His Majesty's Factory, Gretna: A Forum for those intersted in the Great War.
'Cordite Club.'
His Majesty's Factory, Gretna was built during the early part of the First World War to manufacture Cordite. The Cordite was installed inside artillary shells and bullets, and used as the propellant that fired the projectile from the armed forces weapons.
